JAGGAER is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and elevate our global procurement function. This role reports to the VP, Finance, and combines hands-on execution with strategic direction - owning end-to-end procurement for a fast-growing SaaS company while leading a small, high-performing team.  The procurement function provides governance, vendor negotiations, policy oversight, and process excellence. The incumbent will connect teams across the organization - reducing friction, driving accountability, and building a scalable, high-performing procurement operation

Principal Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

  • Define and execute JAGGAER’s procurement strategy and roadmap, aligned with company objectives and positioned for scalable growth.
  • Advise senior leadership on procurement policy, vendor strategy, risk, and cost optimization.
  • Represent procurement in cross-functional forums, including Finance, Legal, IT, and business unit leadership.
  • Build a procurement M&A integration playbook and lead procurement workstreams - vendor assessment, contract rationalization, and policy harmonization - to capture synergies following acquisitions.

Cost Savings and Value Delivery

  • Deliver measurable, recurring cost savings through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and demand management, supported by spend analytics that track savings against targets.
  • Lead annual vendor renewals across key categories - software, professional services, and operational vendors.
  • Optimize supplier payment terms to improve working capital and cash flow outcomes.

Process Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Diagnose and resolve procurement friction, prioritizing vendor onboarding and purchase requisition (PR) approval workflows.
  • Maintain the Delegation of Authority (DOA) framework to keep approvals efficient while preserving financial and risk controls.
  • Finalize and publish a comprehensive procurement policy that standardizes practices and serves as the reference for all employees.
  • Build a procurement knowledge base structured for AI-assisted guidance and self-service.
  • Develop deep functional knowledge of JAGGAER’s procurement platform and pursue self-service configuration improvements to support process goals, working with IT as needed.

Training and User Enablement

  • Design and deliver a procurement training program - covering policy, system navigation, and approval workflows - with materials that are current, accessible, and easy to maintain.
  • Drive system adoption across teams by making procurement tools and processes intuitive and low-friction.

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Own strategic supplier relationships across key spend categories, conducting regular business reviews and performance assessments.
  • Monitor supplier risk, compliance, and performance, applying a consistent approach to flag and address issues.
  • Ensure vendor contracts are current, well-structured, and aligned with business needs and risk tolerance.

Team Leadership

  • Directly lead a small team, providing clear goals, regular feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Build a team culture anchored in JAGGAER values: collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and results orientation.

Position Requirements

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive procurement experience (3- 4+ in leadership), with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings and process improvements.
  • Strong command of procurement fundamentals - sourcing, negotiations, contract management, spend analytics, and policy design.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders - from working teams to the executive level - and present data-driven business cases.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
  • Alignment with JAGGAER’s core values and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Familiarity with procurement management platforms, ideally JAGGAER or comparable solutions.
  • Experience building procurement policy, training, or governance frameworks, or supporting M&A integration workstreams.
  • Experience with AI-enabled procurement tools or knowledge management systems.

What We Offer

• A positive and enjoyable working environment within a young, motivated, and collaborative team.
• Competitive salary and clear career development opportunities.
• Short communication channels and genuine room for creativity and initiative.
• An international, professional environment with exciting challenges and growth opportunities.
• An open-minded and dynamic corporate culture with access to training and development.
• Private health insurance, FitPass, summer and winter parties, employee vouchers, New Year gifts, flexible working hours, and a wide range of work-life balance benefits.
