This is a deeply technical, hands-on full stack engineering role. While the scope includes enterprise enablement, success in this position is defined by the ability to design, build, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI-powered applications, integrations, and agents. This role is not a program management or advisory position.
JAGGAER is seeking a hands-on Full Stack AI Engineer to serve as a core member of the CDAO-led System Engineering and Architecture Team. This role is focused on enabling and scaling the enterprise use of ChatGPT and agentic AI across JAGGAER’s internal business functions—including Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, and Executive Leadership.
This is a uniquely hybrid role combining full-stack development, AI platform administration, enterprise integrations, and business analysis. The successful candidate will work directly with functional leaders to identify high-value use cases, build AI-powered workflows and agents, and integrate ChatGPT with enterprise systems to deliver measurable productivity and business outcomes.
When internal enterprise demand is saturated, this role will pivot seamlessly into contributing to reusable agent frameworks, connectors, and prototypes aligned with JAGGAER’s broader agentic AI strategy.
Enterprise AI Enablement & Delivery
• Act as the primary technical enabler for internal enterprise use of ChatGPT and agentic AI solutions.
• Partner with functional leaders (Marketing, Sales, Services, Support, Executives) to identify, scope, and prioritize AI-driven productivity opportunities.
• Translate business problems into AI workflows, prompts, agents, and integrations.
• Enable functional teams to build and operate their own AI agents while maintaining enterprise standards and governance.
ChatGPT Platform & Integrations
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Enterprise ChatGPT and internal systems such as:
o Jira, Confluence, Aha
o Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
o Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
o NetSuite and other ERP/finance systems
o Automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, PowerApps)
• Build and maintain REST- and event-driven APIs, connectors, and data pipelines.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data access patterns.
Agentic AI & Full-Stack Development
• Build AI agents using OpenAI’s Agent Platform, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent frameworks.
• Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge sources.
• Develop backend services (primarily Python) to support AI workflows and integrations.
• Contribute to frontend or lightweight UI components when needed to validate workflows and user experiences.
Platform Operations & Governance
• Administer and support enterprise ChatGPT usage, configurations, and integrations.
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, context management, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation, usage guides, and architectural artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
Collaboration & Influence
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the broader Chief Data & AI Office, Architecture, and Engineering teams.
• Provide feedback into JAGGAER’s agentic AI roadmap based on real-world enterprise usage.
Core Qualifications
• 2-5 years of experience in full-stack, backend, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend services, integrations, and AI workflows.
• Hands-on experience with ChatGPT / OpenAI APIs and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise SaaS systems.
• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, including prompting, RAG, tool/function calling, and context engineering.
AI & Integration Experience
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings (e.g., Pinecone, OpenSearch).
• Experience integrating with systems such as Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, ERP, or CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of MCP or similar enterprise connector patterns.
Business & Communication Skills
• Proven ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience administering or supporting enterprise AI platforms at scale.
• Exposure to procurement, SaaS, or enterprise business applications.
• Prior work in internal developer platforms or productivity tooling.
• Experience building reusable AI agents or internal AI products.
• Background in both startup-style rapid prototyping and enterprise environments.
