JAGGAER understands people are its most important asset and is looking for a Bid Manager to join the RFx Team to support and drive continued company growth through the successful delivery of pre-sales services for Global Sales Team. The Bid Manager is a central corporate role focused on owning development and content completion of RFxs and related documents. This includes but is not limited to project management, setting timelines, answering, and assigning requirements, editing, collation, and pageantry of final documents. The Bid Manager is an individual contributor who will collaborate with other internal organizations and utilize their knowledge of processes, and procedures to complete these documents.
• Provide input to help qualify deals and drive bid/no bid decisioning to ensure we apply the right resources to the right deals.
• Capture bid response requirements.
• Manage kick-off calls to review strategy, assignments, and response schedule/project plan.
• Own customer requirements writing assignments.
• Engage subject matter expert teams via CRM and ticketing tools.
• Monitor response team progress to ensure adherence to internal deadlines, action plans, compliance, and quality standards.
• Review and edit content for consistency and company brand guidelines.
• Ensure all submissions are completed on time and in accordance with customer guidelines and specifications while making JAGGAER’s response stand out and unique.
• Collaborate with peers to manage pipeline intake activity.
• Use CRM tool to proactively track activity status and history.
• Provide consultative support to participants about the RFx and other related processes.
• Develop business relationships among internal associates to ensure effective management of proposal generation.
• Capture and share lessons learned with the organization.
• Enhance RFx response process to improve win-rate by periodically providing feedback about the current process and identifying areas where we do not win.
• Collaborate with Global RFx team content administrator to maintain most recent content required to respond to RFxs.
• Strong English and German writing, editing, quantitative and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comply with bid response requirements while making JAGGAER’s responses stand out from competitive offerings.
• Proven ability to determine, create, deliver and manage process flows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter, able to work independently, able to meet deadlines and prepare materials with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) is required.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint are desired but not required.
• Proposal automation and CRM tools experience preferred.
• Understanding of Supply Management, Spend Management, Supply Chain, Procurement disciplines preferred.
• Experience in a role having dealt with software cloud solutions is a plus.
• Proposal management experience (within technology company preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management or Communications related discipline preferred, not mandatory.
